Mr. Ganesh Bista holds a Master’s Degrees in Business Administration from Tribhuvan University Nepal. Currently, Mr. Bista is working as Chief Executive Officer for Centre for Microfinance (CMF) Nepal. He is also serving as Board of Director of South Asia Micro-Entrepreneurs Network (SAMN) which is a regional association representing the effort to improve access to finance across six countries— Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
He has been in the Microfinance Sector for over 23 years and he is an expert in Governance, Microfinance and Market System Development with numerous years of national and international experience. Managed several international development projects and have an extensive experience in providing strategic and technical leadership in managing project life cycle and innovate business models. He received Entrepreneurial Leaders Program (ELP) by Portland State University, School of Business Administration, USA, in 2016. He has also held the titles of Financial Inclusion Advisor at the Mercy Corps in Erbil, Iraq. Mr. Bista has participated in various international training, seminars/workshops and forums and he facilitated the sessions and presented papers on microfinance.
