Sheetal is a financial inclusion professional with more than a decade of experience in Microfinance and Corporate & Retail banking across various geographies in India. She is an MBA from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and is an agriculture graduate.
She is currently a part of the SRO team at MFIN and leads various SRO functions including supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the microfinance guidelines, Customer Grievance Redress Mechanism (CGRM), framing of industry standards and designing training collaterals, among others. She has been associated with MFIN since last 6 years. Prior to this, she was managing commercialization of agricultural technologies and capacity building of various stakeholders under an initiative of Govt of India. She also has a rich experience with ICICI Bank Ltd. both in SME (asset side working capital funding of credit and non- credit facilities) and Retail Branch banking. Before Joining ICICI Bank, she was associated with BASIX which was a NBFC dealing with microfinance and livelihood sustainability in credit and risk management team, where she also managed microfinance operations at the field level.
