Mr Sadaf Sayeed is the CEO of Muthoot Microfin Ltd, since the start of the business in 2010. Mr Sayeed has led Muthoot Microfin Ltd to become the one of the largest NBFC-MFIs in the country, managing Rs 9,500+ crore AUM, catering to 2.9 million rural households with 10,000+ employees and 1200 branches across 18 states.
Under Sadaf’s leadership Muthoot Microfin has been recognised as Great Place to Work for 4 consecutive years, the organisation has also been ranked among the top 30 places to work in BFSI industry in India. Muthoot Microfin Ltd has also won prestigious Golden peacock business excellence award.
Sadaf has 2 decades of experience in Banking and Financial service industry. He has worked with various financial services organisations in leadership role such as Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, Indiabulls Financial Services, Satin Credit Care Ltd, HDFC Bank and GE Money.
Sadaf has hands on experience in policy making, credit administration, operations and Risk management with expertise in retail lending business and core competence in unsecured small and large loans. He has rich and extensive knowledge in various financial and accounting matters including financial management.
Mr Sadaf Sayeed is a B.com (H) Graduate from Delhi University and holds an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Sadaf is one of the founding members of Kerala Association of Microfinance Institutions (KAMFI). Sadaf has been a part of various Industry level committees such as committee for Credit Bureau, Consultative group formed by SIDBI for MSME Udhami Mitra registration integration with Microfinance Borrowers. He is presently one of the Governing Board Members of Sa-Dhan (Microfinance SRO).

- Muthoot Microfin CEO, Mr Sadaf Sayeed received Indian Achiever Award at Indian Achievers’ Awards 2020-’21. The award was bestowed recognising outstanding professional achievements of Mr Sadaf Sayeed.
- Mr Sadaf Sayeed received NBFC CEO of the Year Award: Mr Sadaf Sayeed, CEO of Muthoot Microfin has won the NBFC CEO of the Year award at the “India NBFC Summit & Awards 2019” held at Hotel Westin, Mumbai on August 30.
- Mr Sadaf Sayeed has won Trusted CEO Award at Ideasfest 2019: Muthoot Microfin won two major accolades at the 6th edition of IDEASFEST 2019 held at ITC Sheraton, New Delhi on 5th September. At the event, Muthoot Microfin was recognised as Asia’s Most Promising Brand and Mr Sadaf Sayeed, (CEO, Muthoot Microfin) was conferred with Most Trusted CEO 2019 award.
