Vinura is a graduate of the University of Wales holding a first class in BSc. (Hons) Business Management and a passed finalist in The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
He kept his carrier footsteps as a financial accounting advisor at Ernst and Young. During his stay for 2.5 years, he engaged in multiple advisory projects with many leading banks and financial institutes where he was specifically identified, as an expert in IFRS 9 Financial Instruments. Later on, he was headhunted by Hayleys Fentons a leading engineering solution provider as a business-partnering executive in the finance division.
He joined Future Life Investments Ltd a leading Micro Finance company in the year 2021 as a strategist to experiment and introduce novel tactics for the industry. He was able to climb up the career ladder due to his exceptional performance. He held positions simultaneously in multiple strategic business units in addition to Microfinance as a Business-partnering executive, and operations associate, currently acts as an operations manager.
